Day 1: Arrival at Kathmandu
Upon arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, we will pick you up and check you into the hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure to get acclimatized and rest up for the upcoming ride.

Day 2: Explore Kathmandu – 40 Kms (By Car)
Our journey through Kathmandu begins with a deep dive into the city’s spiritual and cultural heritage. We’ll visit two of Nepal’s most iconic landmarks — Pashupatinath Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site dedicated to Lord Shiva, and Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple), perched atop a hill with panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley. These visits offer a profound experience of Nepal’s spiritual traditions.

Day 3: Kathmandu to Bandipur – 150 Kms
Leaving the bustle of Kathmandu behind, we ride 150 km to the hilltop town of Bandipur. The scenic journey along Prithvi Highway follows the Trishuli River, passing terraced fields, village life, and Himalayan views. The final stretch to Bandipur involves a short but steep climb, ending in a peaceful Newari town known for its traditional charm and sweeping mountain vistas.

Day 4: Bandipur to Nuwakot – 135 Kms
We descend from Bandipur and rejoin the highway heading east towards Nuwakot. The 135 km ride passes through winding mountain roads and rural landscapes, ending in a historic hilltop town with an 18th-century palace and stunning valley views.

Day 5: Nuwakot to Syabrubesi – 90 Kms
Today’s 90 km ride takes us along the Pasang Lhamu Highway toward Syabrubesi, the gateway to Langtang National Park. The route features a mix of smooth and rugged roads, scenic views of the Trishuli River, and glimpses of the Himalayan foothills.

Day 6: Syabrubesi – Kyirong Town (2,800 m) – 75 Kms
After breakfast, we complete Nepal’s exit formalities before meeting our Chinese guide at the Kyirong Border. Once immigration is cleared, we drive 40 km to Kyirong Town. The afternoon is for rest or short walks to acclimate.

Day 7: Kyirong Town – Kyirong County – Kongtang Lhamo Pass – Old Tingri – 300 Kms
Today we ascend onto the Tibetan Plateau, riding through the Kongtang Lhamo Pass (5,236 m) with views of Mt. Shixiabangma and Pekutso Lake. The ride ends in Old Tingri at 4,340 m, surrounded by Himalayan giants.

Day 8: Old Tingri – Gyatsola Pass – Sakya – Tsola Pass – Shigatse – 300 Kms
We continue through high-altitude terrain, crossing Gyatsola Pass (5,200 m) and visiting Sakya Monastery. The day ends in Shigatse, the second-largest city in Tibet, rich with culture and history.

Day 9: Shigatse to Lhasa – 300 Kms
We ride east toward Lhasa, passing traditional Tibetan villages and breathtaking views. Lhasa welcomes us with the majestic Potala Palace, the spiritual heart of Tibet.

Day 10: Sightseeing in Lhasa
We explore the iconic Potala Palace, sacred Jokhang Temple, and bustling Bakhor Street — a blend of devotion and daily life that showcases Lhasa’s soul.

Day 11: Sightseeing in Lhasa
Today includes visits to Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery, important centers of the Gelugpa sect. Witness the famous monk debates and experience Tibetan monastic life.

Day 12: Lhasa to Shigatse – 350 Kms
A highlight of the tour, today’s ride takes us via the turquoise Yamdrok Lake and over Kamba La Pass (4,794 m). We pass stunning lakes, villages, and valleys en route to Shigatse.

Day 13: Shigatse to Shegar – 260 Kms
We ride deeper into the Tibetan Plateau toward Shegar (New Tingri), gateway to Everest Base Camp. The route features remote valleys and nomadic settlements.

Day 14: Shegar to Everest Base Camp – Old Tingri – 180 Kms
We ride through Gawu La Pass (5,198 m) to reach Rongbuk Monastery and Everest Base Camp (5,200 m), with awe-inspiring views of Everest’s north face. The day ends in Old Tingri.

Day 15: Old Tingri to Gyirong Town – 300 Kms
This scenic ride passes snow-covered peaks, river gorges, and changing landscapes, ending in Gyirong — the lush “Valley of Happiness” near the Nepal border.

Day 16: Gyirong to Kathmandu – 150 Kms
After clearing border formalities, we re-enter Nepal. Though only 150 km, the narrow, winding roads take 6–7 hours as we descend from alpine terrain into subtropical valleys, ending in Kathmandu.

Day 17: Departure from Kathmandu
After a journey through some of the world’s most awe-inspiring landscapes and cultures, it’s time to say farewell. We’ll transfer you to the airport and wish you safe travels until we ride again.
