Day 1 –
Arrival at Leh (No Ride)
Upon arrival at Leh airport (Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport), you will be picked up from the airport and checked into the hotel. Since Leh is located at the height of 3500Mtrs ASL, it is very important for each one of you to have enough rest to get acclimatized for the upcoming days. No motorcycles will be provided today since you need enough time to get acclimatize.

Day 2 –
Leh To Lamayuru,Kilometers – 115
After breakfast we will start our ride towards Lamayuru, The village is famous for the Lamayuru Monastery, also known as Yung Drung Monastery. This is one of the oldest and largest monasteries in Ladakh, believed to have been founded in the 10th century. It is an important center of Tibetan Buddhism and belongs to the Drikung Kagyu school.

Day 3 –
Lamayuru to Stok Village,Kilometers – 125
After exploring the ancient beauty of Lamayuru, we will ride back towards Stok Village. Stok Village is a paradise for nature lovers and adventure enthusiasts. It is surrounded by towering mountain ranges and offers breathtaking vistas of the Himalayas, making it an ideal spot for those seeking tranquillity and natural beauty. The landscape is characterized by rugged terrain, lush green valleys, and the sparkling Indus River that meanders through the region. By evening we will reach Stok and visit Stok Gompa for the breathtaking views of Leh City.

Day 4 –
Stok to Nubra Valley,Kilometers – 140
Today we will start our journey towards Nubra Valley, Nubra valley is the coldest desert situated at the height of 10000ft asl in the Himalayas. Before reaching we will cross Khardungla pass at the height of 5380Mtrs, which is the world’s highest motorable road. We will also visit Diskit Gompa and Hunder sand dunes, where you can do a double hump camel safari. By evening we will reach the camp in Nubra Valley.

Day 5 –
Nubra Valley to Turtuk & Back, Kilometers – 160
After exploring the coldest desert, day 4 on the Ladakh Motorcycle Tour continues towards Turtuk Village. Turtuk is a tiny farming village nestled between snow-topped mountains in India’s far north-western region of Ladakh. Probably one of the most beautiful villages in Nubra Valley, surrounded by Apricots barley farming is an important source of income. It is situated next to the Shyok River, Turtuk is one of the few places in India where one can witness Balti culture, It is the last major village where tourist activity is allowed before the Line of Control with Pakistan. By evening we will ride back to Nubra Valley.

Day 6 –
Nubra Valley to Pangong Lake, Kilometers – 170
After breakfast we will start our journey towards world famous Pangong Lake at the height of 14000Ft asl, we will be taking the Nubra – Shoyk Valley route, the entire road is very tricky with sudden twists and turns with multiple water crossings. We will reach Pangong Lake by evening, and for the rest of the day you can spend time near the lake.

Day 7 –
Pangong Lake to Hanle, Kilometers – 200
After breakfast, we will start riding towards Hanle. Hanle is a large historic village in the Indian Union Territory of Ladakh. It is the site of the 17th-century Hanle Monastery of the Drukpa Kagyu branch of Tibetan Buddhism. Hanle is located in the Hanle River valley on an old branch of the ancient Ladakh–Tibet trade route. Most of the roads will be off-road and one will enjoy the adventure in the Himalayas. By evening we will reach Hanle and stay in a Homestay in a dormitory.

Day 8 –
Hanle – Umling La Pas – Hanle, Kilometers – 200
After early breakfast, we will start our ride towards Umling La pass. Umling La Pass is located at a distance of 100 kilometers from Hanle; in the direction of the village of Demchok; in Changthang Valley of Ladakh region. Most of the roads for today will be completely off-road with High-altitude terrains. We will be riding for more than 2 hours at 15000 Ft Above sea level, we will reach Umling Pass by noon, after spending some time there and we will ride back on the same route to reach Hanle. By evening we will reach Hanle and stay at a Homestay in a Dormitory.

Day 9 –
Hanle to Leh, Kilometers – 250
After exploring some of the rugged terrains of the Himalayas, we will start our return journey towards Leh city. It will be the longest ride of the trip and we will start a little early, we will be crossing multiple villages en route in the Changthang Valley. We will reach Leh by evening.

Day 10 –
Departure from Leh
After breakfast, we will bid goodbye to the Himalayas, and we drop you off at the airport for your onward journey.
